My name is Joseph Boyle and I am a man of many hats. At one time or another Iíve considered myself an artist, an author, a programmer, a designer, an engineer, a musician, an athlete, and occasionally a comedian.

I started my journey many years ago and eventually I found my way to the University of Virginia. It was there that I received a B.S. in Computer Science with Highest Distinction as well as minors in Systems Engineering and Applied Mathematics. But I wasnít done yet. I had accumulated a wide set of technical skills and engineering expertise, so I figured I might as well try my hand at design. I continued to build on this wealth of knowledge at Carnegie Mellon University, where I received a Master's Degree in Human-Computer Interaction. I toyed with the idea of staying in school forever, but ultimately I decided to do the adult thing and thrust myself into the real world. It didn't hurt as much as I thought it would.

I currently work for Eaton Corporation in Pittsburgh, PA as a Senior Interaction Designer. Iím involved with a number of different projects, mostly focused on power and energy monitoring.

I encourage you to browse my portfolio and take a look at some of my past projects. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact me.
